SEE ALSO 56589 Forty-fifth Legislature. Senate. No. 2. On January 18, 1866, the State Treasurer presented an abstract of the financial condition
of the municipalities, especially in regards to bounties paid to soldiers. The tables were alphabetical by county and then municipality. The columns
were for Aggregate Indebtedness, War Purposes, Municipal Purposes, Value of Personal Property, Value of Real Property, and Total Value. There was no
Recapitulation Table. (The Adjutant General's report gave a better understanding of bounties.) (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title
originally held by the Maine Historical Society Library, the Maine State Library, and the Library of Congress).
