Treaty of Washington, 1857. On February 17, 1857, Mr. Weston sent an account of his activity on the claims. He noted that he was fired for some
reason not known to him, so he stopped work on the project. He sent a copy of his memorial to Congress about the claims--the entire thing was a judicial
