Three volumes of various acts from 1755-1761. Copy 2 and 3 are variants of the first copy, with a few additional acts included and in copy 2, a
manuscript index. Of note, an act dated July 28, 1757, established patrols to better control slaves; plantations owners were tasked with providing
persons to comprise these patrols. Slaves were subjected to various penalties unless they had tickets demonstrating permission to be outside their
