1870 New Constitution of the State of Tennessee, as revised by the delegates and held in Nashville from January 10-February 22, 1870. Of note this constitution was a result of the requirement that all ex-Confederate states adopt new constitutions explicitly banning slavery. Most of the remainder was similar to the prior constitution. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of titles originally held by the Library of Congress).
