Undated manuscript of the State of the King's Title to Carolina and to the Bahamas. This document was appeared to be in connection with a Spanish
complaint about Fort St. George, built near the Altamaha River in Georgia; and the conclusion was reached that the fort was within the Province of
Georgia. Likewise, the Bahamas also was under the king. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by the South Carolina Historical
Society Library).
