1940 Report of the Majority of the Standing Committee of Banks and the Currency on a petition relating to a new system of banking, as well as the
governor's message regarding banks and currency. The report was attached as Appendix to House Journal, No. 4. Among various recommendations, having a
uniform banking law, rather than individual charges was proposed. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of titles originally held by the Library of
Congress).
