Bank of Wooster. In House--February 1, 1842. The House wanted to know if the State had any stock in the failed bank. The State owned 250 shares with
a par value of $2,250. Mr. Brough notified the State Treasurer of this in 1839; the Treasurer had the power to sell the stock. Over the next couple
of years, the Auditor pushed for the sale to get the State out of a bad situation, but nothing happened. Mr. Brough did not like to point fingers,
