Document No. 16 Special report of the Board of Public Works, relative to skeleton maps of the state of Ohio. December 30, 1857. The Board hired an engineer to set up the maps' components: counties, principal towns and cities, chief watercourses, canals, railroads, and turnpikes. Mr. Curtis apologized for the crude finished product. P. 4-11 was a list of turnpikes, p. 12-18 was a list of railroads, p. 18-23 was a list of canals. No maps were included.
