The completed road would be not quite twenty-seven miles long. Eighteen and one half miles had been completed and would go under toll in a few
days. **Doc. No. 42 Annual report of the Dayton and Covington Turnpike Road Company. December 28, 1841. Condition of the Company as of November 15,
1841. The road was completed in November, so it is tolled its entire length. $2850 in tolls had paid for gate houses and repairs. The Company will owe
