of Judge McLean in the case of Landerback vs. Moore: by Benjamin Tappan, xxx+33-356, Cleveland, Ingham, Clarke & Co., 1875 (Tappan was President Judge
of the Common Pleas Courts in the 5th Circuit, which sat in Cleveland. While all of the other cases in this volume were Common Pleas cases, the
Landerback case, decided in 1817, was a Supreme Court case. This is thus the earliest Supreme Court case published in any standard legal publication.)
