1850, Jollee. Memorial on taxing venders of Northern goods

1851 memorial to the General Assembly from citizens of Guilford County and authored by James F. Jollee, who requested that there be a tax on manufactured goods from the Northern states. The citizens complained of an unfair competition from these goods, as the Northern states are undercutting the citizens' prices. See LLMC #21735 for a related document.
