1850, House. Resolutions on rights of freemen
|
|
1859 House Resolutions regarding the rights of freemen, held that all white men are free and equal, and should have sole and exclusive right to regulate their internal government and domestic policy. Of note, the authors of the resolution indicated that to do otherwise would "enslave" these freemen. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of titles originally held by the Library of Congress).
