1806-18, Supreme Court records (MS)
1806 - 1818 Manuscript records of the Supreme Court of North Carolina. Of note in 1799, the Superior Court judges were required by act to meet
biennially to hear undecided questions of law and fact. In 1805, the Court was given the title of Supreme Court of North Carolina, and the Superior Courts
became solely trial courts (The Historical Records of North Carolina, volume 1, p. 61). (Digitized from a microfilm copy of titles originally held
by the North Carolina Department of Archives and History).
