1856 Communication from Governor Thomas Bragg to the General Assembly, regarding the a letter from the Board and President of the Western North
Carolina Railroad Company. The letter contained a survey of lands west of Morganton, North Carolina, submitted by James C. Turner, chief engineer of that
railroad. A tabular Statement of the various length, grades, and other information was also attached as part of this report. (Digitized from a
