Description and Holding Information
Saratoga Chancery Sentinel, 1841-47
The Chancery Sentinel; Containing an abstract of the decisions of the Chancellor, from Feb. 1, 1841 to May 24, 1847, n.a., six volumes in 1, n.p.,
1841-47, all published. (Wallace's The Reporters, 1882, describes this publication as containing "short notes of decisions by the Chancellor, most of
them subsequently reported in the regular Reports." The work was evidently originally issued in periodical format. The copy scanned by LLMC is
apparently a reprint of the original issues bound into one volume and fitted out with a common title page. There is no indication of provenance anywhere in the
work. One clue in that direction may be that Price and Bitner in their 1953 ed. appendix call this title The Saratoga Chancery Sentinel. LLMC has
chosen to scan this title as one volume with six parts.)
