Description and Holding Information
1915, New York Con. Conv., Amendments Proposed
New York Constitutional Convention 1915, Amendments Proposed: V.1-2, various pagination, Albany, J.B. Lyon, n.d. (1915?) (This is not an easy set to
use in the paper version, much less on line. The following information may help the user to navigate the material. There were 857 proposed
amendments, which were assigned successive Amendment Numbers {A.N.} as received and then printed, each with its own pagination. These were then later compiled
into a complete run, and were bound in these two volumes as follows: Vol. 1 contains A.N. 1-489, Vol. 2 A.N. 490-857. Since all of the proposed
amendments have separate pagination, LLMC has “tagged” the text to the Amendment Numbers. The present title has neither index nor table of contents. However,
some guidance as to subject and legislative history may be derived from the “Amendments Introduced” portion of the Subject Index contained in the
title New York, Constitutional Convention 1915, Record Rev. {Vol. IV, pp. 4387-4413}, which is also offered on this site.)
