March 14, 1772 broadside entitled "To the General Assembly" and signed A Farmer (and once a Grand Juror) of Orange County). This document renewed charges of dishonesty by New York Assemblyman John De Noyelles, (first stated by "Brutus") and denounced the New York General Assembly's inquiry as an unconstitutional exercise.
