statutes, incorporating for the first time Codes of Civil procedure, a Civil Code, a Penal Code, and a Political Code, was published by the legislatively
established Code Commission in 4 volumes. This “popular edition” omits many of the Code Commission’s annotations and insertions. While this is an
unofficial edition, it did receive certification from the Code Commissioner, D.S. Wade, as being a “true and correct copy of the {Montana} laws, and is
entitled to full faith and credit as a volume containing all the laws of Montana in force… 1 July 1895.”)
