1780-06-30, Council of Safety resolution to raise 1,500 men be added to the 2,520 already requested
June 30, 1780 broadside issued by the Connecticut Council of Safety, resolving to raise an additional 1,500 men to serve in the Continental Army.
This resolution added to the requested 2,520 soldiers previously authorized by the General Assembly. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of titles
