Report of Chauncey F. Cleveland, Commissioner on the Insane Poor, submitted to the Connecticut General Assembly during the May 1844 session. The
report discussed the progress of this group who were sent to the Retreat at Hartford for treatment. Cleveland also requested additional funds so more
