1837 Report of the Special Committee of the Connecticut General Assembly concerning various allegations made against the City Bank of New Haven. The
principal issue appeared to be that bank funds had been largely used out of state, for questionable purposes not contemplated by its chapter. The
report also focused on various financial reports and the actions of the then president of the bank. See LLMC #20095 for related document. (Digitized
