1777-01-11, Proclamation of day of fasting
January 11, 1777 broadside issued by Governor Jonathan Trumbull of Connecticut, proclaiming January 29th as a day of fasting and prayer in light of
the war. The second copy attached a manuscript of a religious text, which was fairly illegible in some areas. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of
titles originally held by the Connecticut Historical Society Library (c.1) and Yale University Library, New Haven, Connecticut (c.2)).
