October 14, 1771 broadside issued by Governor Jonathan Trumbull of Connecticut, proclaiming November 14th as a day of thanksgiving for a good
harvest, as well as a request to guide the king and council to preserve all civil and religious rights and privileges and to maintain peace and tranquility.
