1836, Journal of the proceedings of the Convention (1894)
1894 publication of the Journal of the Proceedings of the Convention of Delegates of the State of Michigan, pursuant to an act of Congress of June
15, 1835 and an act of the Michigan legislature on July 25, 1836. The convention met to consider the proposition of Congress, regarding the admission
of Michigan into the Union and a modified boundary with Ohio. It was held in Ann Arbor from September 26-30, 1836. This text (pp. 1-40) is essentially
a reprinting of LLMC 41-443. Beginning at the bottom of p. 40 are the proceedings of the 2nd Convention of Assent held from Dec. 14-15, 1836.
