July 12, 1775 Provincial Congress resolution to require men in each town's company to serve for a month until General Washington's troops are
sufficiently raised. Of note, this resolution included blanks for the specified town, number of men and other information. (Digitized from a microfilm copy

Title:   To the military officers, select-men, and committee of correspondence in the town of [blank] : Gentlemen, You are hereby most earnestly requested to procure the execution of the subsequent resolve with the greatest ... expedition ... Provincial Congress, Watertown, July 12, 1775. Whereas a very speedy augmentation of the army is indispensably necessary ...
