clear that this is a separate edition. The first edition of the Public Statutes of 1882 was authored by Allen, Crocker & Barker and published in
xliv+1405p. in Boston by Rand, Avery & Co, in 1882. See LLMC Title No. 09364. In 1883 it was re-published by Wright and Potter in exactly the same
pagination. The present 1886 re-publishing by Wright and Potter does not state the authorship of Allen, Crocker & Barker on its title page and does not
display internal evidence that the coverage has moved beyond 1882. However, it has totally different pagination {xliv+1297p}, and for that reason alone
probably merits being offered separately.)
