December 22, 1736 petition to the King and Privy Council in the case of Mr. Penn, and the people of Pennsylvania, and the three lower counties of
Newcastle, Kent, and Sussex, on Delaware regarding a series of injuries and hostilities made by Thomas Cresap, and others, by the direction and authority
of the deputy-governor of Maryland. Of note, the underlying issues concerned a border dispute between the two colonies. (Digitized from a microfilm
