1897, Revised Statutes of Indiana (Thornton)
The revised statutes of Indiana; Containing all laws of a general character in force September 1, 1897; Containing also the United States and Indiana
Constitutions, an appendix of historical documents, and a table of statutes enacted since 1881 that have been amended: by W.W. Thornton, xvii+2279p,
Chicago, Callaghan & Co., 1897, all published. (The principle enactments tracking the evolution of Indiana from being a part of the State of Virginia
through to its own statehood can be found in an appendix to this text at pp. 1979-2016. It is noted in Pimsleur’s that some copies of this edition
have Sec. 3491a–2491b inserted on two unnumbered pages between pp. 610 and 611. The copy scanned by LLMC did not. However, if those pages can be made
available, LLMC will scan them and insert them where Pimsleur’s indicates.)
