Title:   Thanksgiving proclamation. By the acting Governor. Executive department, Territory of Idaho : Whereas, Chester A. Arthur, President of the United States, has designated Thursday, November 24, of the current year, as a day of National Thanksgiving and Prayer ... now, therefore, I, Theodore F. Singiser, acting Governor of the Territory of Idaho, do recommend that the people of this territory lay aside all worldly business on said day and assemble in their various places of worship for thanksgiving and praise ... Done at Boise City, this 10th day of November, A.D. 1881. Theodore Singiser.
