Report and Recommendations of Sub-Committee No. 6 to the Commission to Revise the Constitution (State of Georgia) 1944. 4 p. This document contains
the committee’s draft of Article VIII of the constitution. It is dated April 4, 1944, And signed by the Chairman, Frank C. Gross. It states: “Some of
the members of our committee were not able to attend our meetings and are not in full accord with the recommendations contained in this re-draft. For
this reason it is probable that I will ask that this article be recommitted to our committee for further study. If this is done I will ask the
committee to meet after adjournment of the full commission on the first day and submit the amended report before the commission reaches the article.” At the
time of writeup, this document did not have a cover page.
