A collection of scattered correspondence in the Secretary of State for Florida from 1770 to 1865. These manuscripts zre contained in two "chapters"
and cover a number of secretaries of State, including, among others, Archer, Allen, Maxwell (ad interim), and Downing. Part 1 covered West Florida
colonial times, beginning in 1770; part 2 covered the state and confederate period, beginning in 1845. (Source of digitized copy: Library of Congress).
