Board of Bank Commissioners. Special report calling for information, 1842
Doc. No. 27 Special report of the Board of Bank Commissioners [Ohio] in reply to a resolution of the Senate calling upon said Board for
information. In Senate--December 24, 1842. The Board offered a table of banks whose charters would expire in 1843 and 1844 showing how much capital stock was
owned by Ohio residents and non-residents. There was another table of banks whose charters would expire in 1843 and 1844 showing the indebtedness of
the principals of those banks. It also explained which banks had charters that could be modified by new laws and regulations.
