Doc. No. 19 Special report of the Treasurer of State [Ohio] in answer to a resolution of the House relative to the receipt by the Treasurer of Ross
County of the paper of the Bank of Chillicothe. In House--December 19, 1842. The House asked if the State Treasurer directed the county Treasurer
to accept Chillicothe paper? The Treasurer replied that he did not instruct any County Treasurer about accepting paper. He did instruct certain
County Treasurers to use local banks.
