February 19, 1842. On January 27, 1842, the Commissioners took possession of the bank's books, etc. and began their investigation. They found that
everyone associated with the bank had broken every law and rule of banking over several years. Pages 21-50 was twenty-three depositions and pages 51-67
were schedules, interrogatories, minutes, monthly statements and court proceedings.
