Board of Public Works. Special report on adopting the Mad River Feeder … 1841
Doc. No. 62 Special report of the Board of Public Works [Ohio] relative to the adoption of the Mad River feeder as one of the public works of the
State. Senate, February 24, 1841. Because of low water flow, especially during drought, the idea of the Mad River as a feeder was abandoned in favor
of a reservoir. The river could be made a branch of the Miami Canal, however. A map was referenced, but was not present.
