Doc. No. 14 Special report of the Auditor of State [Ohio] in compliance with a resolution of the last General Assembly, showing an account of all
moneys paid out or viewing, surveying, and laying out of state roads within the limits of their respective counties from the 5th of March 1839 to the
15th of November 1840. John Brough sent the information for 26 counties. Nine counties reported no such expenses, and 43 counties did not report at
all.
