Doc. No. 56 Special report of the Auditor of the State [Ohio] in reply to a resolution of the Senate, relative to the Collector of Tolls at
Chillicothe. On February 3, 1841, the Auditor presented a letter. He referenced another report that was not present. Apparently the Collector had not been
entirely honest in his work. The Auditor denied trying to harm the Collector's reputation, but there had just been too many incidents to ignore.
