Document No. 12 Report of the Auditor of State [Ohio] in answer to a resolution of the House. House--December 9, 1839. The resolution asked for
financials on all public works, the liabilities for each project, and how much it would cost to keep completed projects in repair. What costs remain
for projects not yet finished? How much has the state spent on projects and how much has it promised to supply in the future? Th Auditor said he had
already reported on State liabilities and because of the way state government was organized, he did not have the answers to all the questions.
