1843-1989 Provisional Government papers in typescript. A notation in the beginning of the papers indicated that the pages were gathered from three
chests in the Oregon State Archives in the State House at Salem. Included were a few letters, number of acts, which generally did not appear in print,
message to the legislature, Letters from John McLoughlin ("Father of Oregon"), and other relevant material. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of
titles originally held by the Oregon Historical Society).
