|
1861 Report of the Joint Committee on alleged fraud interpolation on Senate bill NO. 73, which was an act for the sale of the marsh and tide lands of the state, which was approved on May 14, 1861. The investigation included much testimony, a review of the records, and other statements and ultimately decided to recommend no further action, although the committee noted that the legislature should not falsify its own records.
