|
Journal of the Missouri State Convention held in Jefferson City, in June 1863. This session occurred after the Emancipation Proclamation; the
convention dealt with this issue during this session. The state constitution was abrogated and an ordinance for gradual emancipation with compensation, to
be completed on July 4, 1870 was passed (p. 4 of appendix). An index and appendix and index to the appendix were included. See LLMC #00022t for a
