1808-49, Compiled Laws (Cherokee)
1808-49 Compiled laws and statutes enacted by the General Council of the Cherokees, in Cherokee. These laws were enacted by those residing in the
direction of the east starting in the year 1808; beginning 1824, also by the Cherokees known as the "Old Settlers" residing in the direction of the
west beginning in the year 1824, together with the united Cherokees. (Volumes in the Early State Records collection were digitized from a microfilm copy
of titles originally held by the Library of Congress).
