June 16, 1841 resolutions, in English and Cherokee from the members of the committee of the Cherokee Nation, which established various steps and
procedures to protect the Principal Chief and others from a conspiracy to harm them. Included were the establishment of guards, as well as allowing the
arrest of any person found to be involved in hostile actions in furtherance of this conspiracy. The resolutions also reflect to establish an Indian
