Manuscript entitled "Part of the History of the Life of Ira Allen Esquire," which he wrote in the Pelagits Prison in Paris. In his notes, he
indicated that he began this part on March 25, 1799; a first part began in Paris on June 1796. The memoir began in 1769. (Digitized from a microfilm copy
of title originally held by the Library of Congress).
