Address to the people of Maine from a meeting held at Freeport of delegates from Cumberland, Lincoln and Kennebec Counties. which urged the citizens to carefully consider the vote for separation of Maine from Massachusetts. The address noted that if they voted against the measure, they could further consider it later; if voted for it, their opportunity to answer some questions would be gone forever.
