April 1791 address to the inhabitants of the District of Maine regarding the separation of Maine from the government of Massachusetts. This address had a dedication page to Samuel Dean, D.D.; however the author's name was not listed in this document. The address favored separation, and listed the advantages while also noting steps needed to be taken in order to meet constitutional requirements and state admission.
