authorized to sell the bridge to the City of Boston for an agreed upon sum. The City was to maintain the bridge properly and have a 24 hour draw service.
If the City did not pay the proprietors by Sept 15 of the next year, the proprietors could turn over the bridge to the Commonwealth or they could
strip the decking from the bridge and auction all the materiel and outbuildings and divide the proceeds among the shareholders. Then the corporation
