H.R. No. 46 On February 14, 1828, a committee submitted a Resolve: It is the sense of the House of Representatives that it approves of the official conduct of John Quincy Adams and that he is worthy of re-election. It likewise approved of the conduct of Henry Clay [U.S. Secretary of State] (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by the Massachusetts State Library).

The committee of this House, to whom was referred an order, directing them to "consider the present posture of our national affairs and to report such measures, as they may deem expedient on the part of this House, to express its sense thereon," have attended to that subject and ask leave to report the following resolutions, which are respectfully submitted.
