The history and debates of the Alabama convention held in Montgomery between January 7 to March 20, 1861; included were the speeches of the secret
sessions and various "valuable" state papers. This was compiled by Tuscaloosa delegate, William Russell Smith and printed in 1861. Included was a
preface, appendix which contained various documents and correspondence, and an index. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of titles originally held by the
Library of Congress).
