1847 Report of the Joint Standing Committee on state lands and roads which reviewed the land agent's report relating the lunbering operation on St.
John and Aroostook Rivers for 1846. A resolve was attached regarding the land agent's participation in the settlement of stumpage of ton timber but on
public lands in those areas, under permits from 1845. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by the Library of Congress).
